Import not publishing tasks

Used the import wizard to import three different projects
to the EPM Web. All resources were properly mapped.
Projects are published, appear in project centre, but
tasks do not appear for individuals assigned to them (no
tasks appear in users Task area).
Tried re-importing, same result.

Thought importing was supposed to give same results as
publishing?

Even though your imported projects appear to be published, because you can
view them and because they have the file extension ".published", be rest
assured that they are NOT actually published. In order to publish these
projects, you will need to click Collaborate - Publish - Publish All. Only
after doing so will the task assignments appear on the Tasks page for each
resource. Hope this helps.
