Hoping you can assist.
I'm receiving hundreds of emails every day with an excel attachement (all
excel files have same format). I'm required to collate the details on these
attachments into the one table for reporting purposes. I was hoping this
could be done automatically via a link from the Outlook folder to Access.
I've successfully created an External Data Link with the outlook folder,
which populates everything relating to the email except the details on the
actual excel attachement.
Is this possible and if not, could you recommend another solution to assist
automating this process? Presently it's unrealistic (time wise) for me to
manually open each email and copy/paste the excel file into another folder
for upload.
Open to suggestions !!
