Import PDI file to business manager?

I have tried repeatedly to import a Sony palm contacts list to Business
Manager using the csv format, etc. I have not been successful.

Is the CSV file in unicode encoding?

If not, open the file in notepad, save it with unicode encoding, and
try importing again.

I found that I had to open the csv file in Excel, label the columns with the
appropriate fields, save it in excel or in csv and then it imported fine.

This is the approach for importing csv files into outlook 2002. Couldn't
find the procedure for 2003.
