I did not misread your post. What part of my answer did you not understand?
You did not say you no longer had access to Outlook 2003. Are you trying to
imply that now?
If so, just try to open the file in Outlook 2000. You will know immediately
if you created it in the wrong format. If that is the case, you will need to
regain access to Outlook 2003 so you can create that PST file in the correct
format.

Can anyone tell me if I can import an email folder backup from Outlook
2003
(in .pst form) into Outlook 2000 without corrupting anything? I don't
have
spare machines to try this out on.
