Import .pst from DVD ROM

Trying to import archived dat file from DVD ROM to calender, followed the
import schedule on outlook including removing Read Only from file, but system
tells me file .pst is not compatible with this version of the personal
folders information service and to contact administrator. Any Suggestions,

Trying to import archived dat file from DVD ROM to calender, followed
the import schedule on outlook including removing Read Only from
file, but system tells me file .pst is not compatible with this
version of the personal folders information service and to contact
administrator.

1) Don't import.
2) Copy to the hard drive.
3) Remove the read-only attribute
4) In Outlook, click File>Open>Outlook Data File

However, the message you're getting seems to indicate that you're trying to
use a Unicode (OL 2003) PST in an ANSI (OL 97-2002) PST environment. Can't
be done.
