Import Spec-Germany

I've written an macro which uses an import spec for a text file. The macro
works in the US. When my German counterparts run the macro, the data does
not import correctly. Most dollar amounts are not imported although some of
them do import correctly. The German database does have an error table with
the error "Fehler bei Typumwandlung" which translates to a type conversion
error.

Any thoughts as to how to fix this?
