Import text Wizard not working

I have Access97 and Access2000 both installed on my machine but the import
text wizard does not work in Access2000, but it does in Access97.

I do not received a notification indicating the wizard is not installed but
receive a notice in the status bar of 'Import Text Wizard'.

The Access2000 install has SP-3 installed so trying to use the add feature
from the SP-1 media does not work.

Can anyone tell me how to resolve the problem so the import text wizard will
work in both versions? Is it possible to have the wizard work in both
versions?
