Import Timesheet by someone else

Hello,
Project Server 2007 + SP1 + IU

How to "Import timesheet" actuals when the timesheet approver is not the
same person who updates tasks progress in Project Pro?
Where can he/she found the Timesheet to import?

Hi Robert,

Excellent question unfortunalty Project Server 2007 does not accomodate
letting someone else import their tasks from their timesheets. You could of
course custom develop a solution which Project Server lets you do.

So, if I understand well, if we want to use the "Import timesheet" feature,
we have to set the resources as their own approver. Isn't it?

No the approver is not relevant when importing timesheet data into the task
update. The actual import will need to be done by the resource and not the
approver.
