Import txt files data type specs problem

When importing textfiles i cannot use all data-type's in
advanced mode or by declaring field type in the wizard.

I do get the following:
Yes/No,Byte,Int,long,5,6,7,8,10,11,Object,Memo, hyperlink.

Does anybody know how to solve this problem, I want to
import the data type; date
