Import Wizard

I am unable to import more than 21800 contacts into
Outlook 2000 or Outlook 2003 from the following files
containing the same data:

1. Text file - tab delimited
2. Import txt file to Access file 2000 or 2003
3. Import txt file to Excel File 2000 or 2003
4. Resaved text file (tab delimited) from Excel 2000 or
2003

Outlook either stops responding and or creates an event id
1000 in windows 2000 or windows XP.

I cannot import more than 21800 contacts. Any number less
than 21800 is fine, import is successful. If I proceed to
import 30,000 or 40,000 or 64,000 or any number above
21800, the import wizard process fails.

Any assistance would be appreciated.

Does anyone know the limitation of the import wizard, how
many rows of data outlook 2003 will accept from a tab-
delmited file, xls file or mdb file?

After many hours of work, i am starting to believe the
maximum is 21,829 contacts.
