Imported Archived Calendars

I have imported old archived calendar entries from .pst file, and I also can
view the same persons (Joe Bloggs) existing calendar. I now have calendars
labelled 'Calendar' (mine), 'Calendar' (old calendar entries, accessed by
clicking the 'archived' check box) and 'Joe Bloggs' (shared calendar). Is
there a way I can change the display name for the old calendar entries to
something more meaningful, to avoid confusion?

Why did you try to import? Just open the old archive PST with
FIle>Open>Outlook Data File. Importing will NOT add other folder names (uless
the names in the archive PST are different than the ones in your default data
store), it will add messages from the folders in the archive into the
corresponding default folder. Thus, I must conclude something in your
description isn't accurate.

If you did open the archive PST, giving yourself a Calendar in the default
data store and a Calendar in the Archive PST, then, no, you cannot rename it.
Outlook will not allow you to rename those default folders that it creates.
You can, however, create an "Archived Calendar" folder in your default data
store and copy the contents from the archive's Calendar to that folder, then
close the archive PST so it doesn't show.

Thanks Brian.

In my description I should have specified that the imported, old archived
calendar entries are for Joe Bloggs, and Joe Bloggs' existing Calendar is
also Shared for me to view.

Your last suggestion below:

Before I try this, can you clarify where this will place the Archived
Calendar's entries? In other words, how do I view the entries, thus keeping
them separate from my Calendar and my view of the Shared calendar?

It will create the folder wherever you tell it., but I was intending you
create it in your default data store (under Personal Folders). ou view the
entries by clicking the new calendar folder you created to contain the
recovered items.
