Imported contacts and birthdays

User imported over 800 contacts from an Excel worksheet
to Outlook folder. Included is a birthday field mapped
to the birthday field in the contact record.
User wants to know if there is a way for the birthday
field to update the calendar? Do we have to Save and
Close each contact? Do we import just that portion of
the worksheet that includes the birthday and contact name?

You'd have to re-save each contact to get the birthdays and anniversaries
into the Calendar. You might want to check out a 3rd party addin that will
