When I import an outline from Word 2007 to PowerPoint 2007, the text on the
new slides uses a font unrelated to the current PowerPoint design theme. If
I change themes, the fonts on the imported slides do not change. Does anyone
know how to avoid this behaviour?
I know that I could select all slides and choose Reset Slides, but I'm
wondering why the new slides are being created with extra font information.
In Office 2003, only the text and outline level would be imported.
More information:
The original Word outline is formatted using only heading styles. It was
created in Word 2007.
Strangely, the font used by PowerPoint changes depending on how I import the
outline.
If I choose Send to PowerPoint from Word 2007, the slides all use Cambria,
just like the headings in the Word document.
If I choose Home | Slides | New Slides | Slides from Outline in PowerPoint
2007, then the slides all use Times New Roman, even though this font isn't
used at all in the original or in the slideshow!
