Imported rules disappear

After building a new system and importing my .pst and
rules I noticed that the next time I loaded Outlook 2k, my
rules were gone. How do I import and keep my old rules?

Could it be that I've stumped the MVP's? All I'm trying

to do is get my rules restored (and staying in place)
after I built a new system and imported my email to it.
