importing a AutoCAD/Solidworks/dwgeditor drawing into MS Word 2000

Rather than viewing and printing the illustrations as beautifully as I drew
them, it looks like my two year old sketched them. I have to believe there is
a way to clean up the clarity of my dwgs for the technical manuals. Is it
possible to use DXF files in word 2000? I can't find a converter.
wmf and emf are ugly and lose information i.e. dropping the number 1 on the
number 15 etc.

PLEASE, somebody help, a deadline is approaching! Thank You!!

As far as I know, Office 97 was the last Office version that
included an Autocad .dxf graphics filter. Visio supports Autocad
..dwg files. The .dxf filter is no longer available for download
from the Microsoft website, but you can download it from Word MVP
Graham Mayor's website http://www.gmayor.com/downloads.htm .
