Importing a file

S

Steve

Utilizing FP 2000, I am trying to import a file into a
folder on for my web. The file is located on my C: local
drive. When I try, I get the following message:

"An error occurred accessing your FrontPage web site.
Authors- if authoring agains a web server, please contact
the webmaster for this server's site. Webmasters-please
see the server's system log for more details."

I am able to import most files, but I cannot import
certain others.

Any ideas?

Thanks,

There is a known issue with import files over 1 MB into a web create by a Windows or IE update for
some users. No solution.

I don't have the problem either, however what is you current setup (FP version, Windows OS,
disk-based or server-based webs, etc.)?

Thomas, so what happens if you copy/paste or drag/drop larger files?
I don't have this problem - must be a recent patch that I never applied.

Copy and paste using Windows and then recalculate hyperlinks.
