Importing a List from Excel into a Distribution List

I would like to know if there is an easy way to import a list of 300+ names
from Excel 2003 format into a new Distribution List in Outlook 2003 without
having to import all of the names into my Contacts Folder and then selecting
each member individually to put into the Distribution List. I categorized the
list that I imported but the Distribution List feature doesn't seem to allow
for selection of all items within a category. Can someone please assist me?

No, there's no easy way to do this. Why would you want to be burdened with
maintaining a big DL in the first place?
