Importing a project with completed tasks

Hi, when I import a project into the server that has completed tasks and
resources assigned to those completed tasks - those completed tasks show up
on the resources PWA task page as tasks that need completed but have 0 hours
remaining. This means those resources have to enter in 0 hours on their time
sheet and select update in order for those tasks to show as complete on their
timesheet view (has the little check mark in the indicator column). How can
I prevent this from happening? How can I import a project with completed
tasks and assigned resources and NOT have it show up on the the assignee's
task page as a task that needs completed? I don't want to delete the
completed tasks from the schedule due to historical considerations. Please
advise and thanks.

After you imported the project, did you do the following steps:

1. Click Collaborate - Publish - Repubish Assignments
2. Select the "Overwrite actual work entered by resources" option
3. Click the OK button
