Importing a subform into Access 2007

When I import using import from the Database tools and select Export for the
subform I want to export and save it. But when I try to import on another
form in a different Access 2007 form I get the following error message:

The Module name 'Form_PartsUsedSubform' is invalid.

*The module name may start with Form_ or Report_.
*The module name can't be name Forms, Reports, Modules, Application, Screen,
Assistant, CommandBars, References, or DoCmd.
*The module name may have too many characters.

I have tried to rename the file name but to no avail. What do I need to do
to get this to work. I have had different people work on the form and need to
combine the work together to create 1 master form.

to import a form that exists in another access database; one just uses the
'External Data' 'Import' feature. You select the database which has the
form, and then you select the form itself.

there is no export involved. you can not export the form (and do not need
to....)

But to merge forms into a Master Form is a different question. This may or
may not be possible depending on what you mean. A Form is an object that is
'sourced' on either a table or query.....or is completely unbound. One can
copy/paste the design elements (objects, labels, etc.) of one form into
another form - however they must logically represent the underlying source
table/query.

I tried the external data feature, the only problem with that is that it does
not bring in any subforms. They are found under the database tools. When I
imported a form I need the subforms did not import.

a subform is fundamentally a form; and you will see it in the list of forms.
simply import it also just like any other form.

The subforms only show up in Database Tools then click Visual Basic. The only
way to get them out is by exporting out then import them. I tried pulling the
forms but I received error messages about the subforms which did not pull in.
They do not show up in the forms for Access 2007. I need to do this as the
original authors of these forms are no longer with the company I work for.
