Just upgraded to Office 2000. With Access 97 I successfully imported tables
from excel spread sheets. In Access 2000, the import function will not allow
me to select a different table to import. I've even deleted the old Excel
files it keeps pointing to, yet nothing works. In the import table function
I select the *.xls file I want to create a table from and click "Import". The
"Import Spreadsheet Wizard" window opens up and presents a file other than
the one I just selected. An old file that I've already deleted from the hard
drive. It does this over and over again. How do I get the wizard to allow
me to import the *.xls file of my choosing? Might there be a problem with my
Access software installation?
