Yes, it is possible. You have to go through many steps to
do this.
In Act:
1.Click on File>Data Exchange>Export. Set the path to the
file you want to export and set the File Type as Text
Delimited. click next.
2.On the next screen, click the Options button and make
sure "Tab" is chosen and put a check mark in the box "Yes,
export field names" Click ok and then Next to export
contact records only.
3.Choose "All Records" and click finish.
The export will run(it will take some time) Open the
exported txt file in Excel. Highlight all columns. Click
Insert>Name>Define> and name your range whatever you
like. Save this file as an xls file.
In Outlook:
1.Choose File>Import and Export. Select "Import from
another program" and click Next.
2.Select "Microsoft Excel" and click Next.
3.Browse to the Excel file you saved and choose "Replace
Duplicates" and click Next.
4.Select the destination folder where you want these
contacts to be stored in your personal folders and click
next.
5.Click "Map Custom Fields" and then drag the column names
from excel(right side) to the corresponding names in
Outlook(left side), click "ok" and then click Finish.
Import function will run and take several minutes. I know
this is alot and may be confusing, hope it helps!
