Importing ACT! 8.0 to BCM 2007

Hi, All:

I am having a slightly different issue importing ACT! 2006 (version
8.0) into Outlook 2007 BCM: I get an error message
"The specified file is not a valid database for the currently
installed version of ACT (2005). If the file is a database from a
prior ACT version, it can be upgraded by opening the database in ACT."

First, I ran act8diag.exe and rebuilt -- same error.

Since I had upgraded from 2005 to 2006, I then uninstalled ACT!,
cleaned out the registry, defragged, reinstalled ACT! 8.0, and got the
same error...

Anything I'm missing? (probably the obvious, I've never been good with
the obvious...)
