Importing Addresses from Excel to Outlook Express

I am having trouble with a particular problem. I had a
computer that died. With it was the toll-free number for
Microsoft help, which was provided before for another
problem. If someone could tell me what it is, I would
appreciate it. If not, perhaps someone knows how to do
this.

I now have a new computer which has XP Home on it. When
the warranty period expires, I will reload my previously
purchased XP Professional. But here is my problem. I
use Microsoft Outlook for my contacts and calendar, but
use Outlook Express for my email.

When I saved my email address book to a CD it was saved
as a .wab extension in an Excel spreadsheet. I can't
import it to the new email address. Can you help me? It
won't copy and paste or export or import.

Please advise.
