Forgive the elliptical post, but I have recently and
rather reluctantly re-entered the Windows world following
the untimely death of my iMac.
Now that I am in Outlook, I would like to import my
address book from Palm Desktop 40 for Mac OS9.2.2.
Problem is, the export options in that program (Tab &
Return, vCard and Palm Desktop formats) don't correspond
to any of the file types that the import wizard can read.
Am I missing something or is there an intermediate file
type that I need to convert to before bringing these
contacts into Outlook?
I realize that I could merely sync my handheld to
Outlook, but it's not possible to sync a handheld to two
base computers, is it? My Palm syncs to my personal
iBook laptop, which I consider to be my primary computer,
and that is the way I want to continue to operate.
E-mail is preferred as I am billable at an ad agency and
newsgroup reading, however edifying it might be, is
unbillable time.
