Importing all my old .txt notepad files into onenote?

Is there a way to import my 2000+ .txt notepad files I have been
keeping over the years?

Seems kinds silly to have to do it manually one by one.

ie
Create a onenote
open .txt file
select all
copy/paste.
rinse repeat

What type of information is in the .txt files ?
What do you want to do with the information ?
How do you want to search for the information ?

I am thinking that OneNote might not be your best choice.
There are alot of advantages of .txt files. With the right search
method, you can have a real nice setup.

You might want to try MyInfo 3 it has a neat way of bridging .txt
files into a searchable knowledgebase.

If you like .txt files (like I do) you can consider a wiki-like entity
to bring them all into one place.

Maybe try GTD Tiddlywiki.

Google it.

This looks like a relatively simple addin to write, IF:
1. You wouldn't mind it being somewhat slow
2. All the TXT files are in one location

Do you still need this type of utility?

I don't know if he does, but I could certainly use it! :)
