Hi I'm looking to import an Excel file in a database diagram in some
fashion or another. The one thing I am trying to avoid is typing in
fields manually into the tables in Visio since some of my real tables
have over 150 columns. I tried using the reverse engineering tool by
grouping my column headings in Excel and then running the wizard
however it is only entering in the first column into the Visio
diagram.
I'm not trying to do anything with indicies or relationships I just
don't want to have to type in around 300 column names by hand and
there has got to be a way to get them in. I've tried copy-pasting as
well as pasting special but it always just ends up pasting in the
first column and that's it.
