Importing and duplicates

Hi everyone,

When I try importing an excel file into an access table
and duplicate data exist in both, they still get imported.
Is there a way to essentially import only data that is not
a duplicate?

You need to set a Primary Key on an appropriate field.
This will prevent duplicates from being imported.
You will receive a key violation error on the import, but
choose ok and you will only import the fields that are not
duplicated.
Read up on primary keys in Help for further info.
