Importing archive pst after new windows install

When I try to import archive into outlook 2003 its show archive during
import, but when it's done archive folder disappears



Original outlook folder was 350 megs after trying to import archive (200
megs) twice it has grown to 900 megs

What are you trying to achieve by importing an archive PST file?
Import/Export PST to PST will most of the time lead to strange problems.

If you are trying to merge your archived data into your current PST
file, open the archive file with Outlook, then copy (drag-and-drop)
whatever you need into your current PST file.
