Importing Autocad .dwg files inot Visio?

I get an error message when attempting to import Autocad files of my house.
The message reads" Cannot open file. The file may not be a DWG of DXF file,
it may not be in a supported version of the DWG file format, or it may be
corrupted. Check the file and try again. "

Your file may be from a more recent version of AutoCAD than Visio supports.
Visio 2003 can open files saved in AutoCAD 2000 format or earlier.

I have made an add-in solution that can convert ACAD Files from every
version including Acad 2006 (ACAD 2007 is not supported for now).
