importing autocomplete addresses to Contacts

Hi,

Our Contacts lists are currently empty, and I'd like to import all of the
addresses from my inbox as actual Contacts (i.e. those seen in the
autocomplete list provided when composing a new message - I assume it is
reading these from the Inbox??).

Can this be done? How?

While Russ gave you links to tools than can help you save the autocompletion
list, I wanted to elucidate your assumption. The autocompletion cache stores
those addresses to which you have sent messages in the past. It is not
reading the addresses from the Inbox.
