am importing contacts from laptop using Windows 2000Professional/Outlook
2000 to a Desktop using Windows XP/Outlook 2003. I have done this
successfully previously but this time have problems.
I copied file to a new personal file on the laptop. I see this file as a
..pst in Outlook file on Windows Explorer. I copy to CD. It burns
successfully. From CD, I copy file to appropriate place in Outlook file on
Desktop. When I try to access in Outlook either directly by opening outlook
data file command or importing it, it says this file is not a personal file.
Yet it has a pst extension. File is not read only and file type was checked
to accept earlier version and is not passworded.
How can I get 2003 Outlook to accept it.
