importing contacts

When I import some contacts from a palm pilot into my
contacts folder, I would like it display alphabetically
such as the following:

Company name
last name, first name

When I set this as the default, it always comes in as
last name, first name.

OR

Is there a way to globally change the view to what I
want? PS - Changing the default filing view under
Options, does not work??

Your settings will not apply to imported Contacts. You can use VBscript to
change the File As field for existing Contacts.
