Importing Data Into Outlook 2007 BCM User-Defined Fields

Is it possible to import data into the user-defined fields in BCM/Outlook
2007? Can the import utility be used, or can the database be updated with a
SQL update query?

Can anyone point me toward the instructions on how to do it?
