Importing data to Access Project

I'm attempting to import CSV data to an Access project. On the SQL Server 2K to which the Project is linked to I have created a table with a dbo owner and this is the table to which I'm attempting the import. I use the wizard provided by Access Project and doing this I get an error message saying Access does not accept dbo.table_name format for its name. The dbo. seems to upset it. This is hard to understand as this is the standard syntax for an owned table in SQL Server.
Does this mean that import is impossible in this case. Or am I missing something really obvious (probable).
