importing data

Is it possible to import data from worksheet to another
just by entering a value? Example on one sheet, I have
all of my data information. On the second page I have a
summary report. On the second page if I enter a value
(code number) can all the data from the previous page be
imported to the right locations? Is there a formula? I
have tried hlookup and can't think of anything else.
There is a way with quattro so I feel there must be a way
with excel. Your help would be greatly appreciated.
