Importing Data

When I try to import a Excel Spreadsheet into Access, the only file types
listed on the drop down box are, Access, Sharepoint, XML & ODBC. I have
repaired, reinstalled, uninstalled, reinstalled (Selecting "run from my
computer on everything") but nothing helps. Also the help menu is not
available in Access. I can get help by going to the web. I am using 2003.

Look for the following files on your hard drive (they should be in the
System folder) and use regsvr32.exe to reregister them:

Msexcl40.dll (Microsoft Excel)
Msexch40.dll (Microsoft Exchange)
Msltus40.dll (Lotus 1-2-3)
Mspbde40.dll (Imprise Paradox)
Mstext40.dll (Text)
Msxbde40.dll (Dbase)
