Hi everybody,
I am looking for a way in Access to get data out of windows XP and import it
into an acces DB. Here in a little more detail: I would like to get
filenames and folders from C: for example and import them as hyperlink or
something that will open the file I click on from access. Now comes the
tricky part. It has to be user specific and has to work with restrictions
set by the windows AD. Plus once I have opened it I need to see wich ones I
have read and which ones not. After I close my DB and come back later I
need to be able to see if there is anything new for me to read.
For those of you familiar with Lotus Notes might know what I am talking
about.
Any help would be great!
