I have a database of contacts. On the contact form, there
is a button that allows the user to write an e-mail and
send it. The e-mail is saved to the database. Anyone who
has access to the database can therefore see a complete
history of communications to that contact. (It also has
letters, faxes, memos, etc., but this question deals
specifically with e-mail.) So my questions are: Is there
any way to import mail received in Outlook into Access?
Specifically, when mail is received in Outlook, can the
user choose to save it to the database? Is this something
that should be custom written in Outlook? Is there any
way to duplicate the look of the Outlook InBox in Access?
I am very well versed in VBA programming in Access...have
never touched Outlook.
Thanks
