Importing Excel data

I have a client who is trying to import Excel data into
Outlook Contacts using Office XP. I can run the import
fine on my machine using Office 2003 but when she runs it
she gets the following error:

Translation Error
An ODBC error has occurred in the Microsoft Excel
translator while opening a file to build a field map.
[Microsoft][ODBC Excel Driver] Too many fields defined.

The error occurs as she clicks Next in the Outlook
Import/Export wizard after the step that says "Select
Destination Folder."

Can anyone help me figure this out.
