Importing Excel Info into Project 2007

I am given a weekly spreadsheet of when a project is suppose to be
constructed and ready to flow. The problem is, the project date can change in
the spreadsheet and there are over 200 projects to track. Please let me know
if Project 2007 is capable of automatically retrieving the project name and
date out of an excel spreadsheet. If so, what are the steps?

Yes, I need to know if project can retrieve the project name from the
spreadsheet. I have a milestone set up in the project schedule that will need
the revised date pulled from the excel spreadsheet and updated in project. Is
this possible?

I know nothing about VBA Macro's and COM Add-ins. You mentioned that we move
the discussion to microsoft.public.project.developer newsgroup. Will we be in
contact there or will I look for this information on my own?
