Importing Excel into Access 2002

I'm trying to import Excel files into Access 2002 (XP) but
when I get to the column selection step in the wizard I
cannot select each column for inclusion/exclusion. I'm
supposed to be able to click the column heading for each
field but no can do. The first column and that's it.

Has anyone else come across this?

thanks but could you be more specific as there is no
advanced tab in the wizard itself. looked at
options/advanced??

Chances are that the wizard thinks you have just one column of data and thus
it's not showing the option to select which columns to import.
