Importing Excel tables

Can anyone help me, i'm have a terrible time trying to
import an Excel2000 table into a Word2000 document. When I
print the tables become screwed up. Any suggestions?

Hi Dave

Try this. Select the relevant area in Excel. Edit > Copy. In Word, Edit > Paste Special.

The option you choose here depends on what you want to do with the table.

Do you want to copy the text, which you can then manipulate in Word? If so, choose to paste as Formatted text.

Alternatively, do you want to Word to display something that looks like an Excel table? If so, try pasting as a picture. You can
then format it as if it were a picture by clicking on it and choosing Format > Picture.
