importing/exporting website using Frontpage 2003

SHANTA MENON

I would need some help in importing and exporting websites.
The URL is www.cntmicrosystems.com
I imported this site using Frontpage 2003 (site was coded using Dreamweaver)
in two different folders.
Because the form sumissions involve som PHP files, I decided to delete and
redo all the forms in the site pages using Frontpage in one of the copies I
imported.
The question is,
1. Would my site work if I published the file folderin which I changed the
forms?
2. If I was not successful, could I get the original site back by
publishing the site folder in which I did not make any changes?
3. By the way, I do not see any navigation structure to all pages. There is
only the HOME page shown on the navigation view. Is this normal? Or do I
have to create this in Frontpage?
Hope someone can help on these questions.
Thanks
Shanta

Importing the site may not get all the files involved. You should use
FrontPage to publish the site down to your PC (if it has extensions
installed and running) or use an FTP client to download the entire site.

To use FP forms the website must have FrontPage extensions installed and
running. If this is the case, and if you downloaded the entire original
site, then publishing the folder with the new forms should work.

If you publish the other folder, this should restore the original site, but
you may have to manually delete the new form pages you created.

Navigation View is a FrontPage function. You probably don't need it,
unless you wish to use the FrontPage navigation components (which are not
being used now).
