Importing financial data from export Spreadsheet

Hello

I would like import data from a spreadsheet which contains financial
project data from Oracle.

I want to map the following onto the project plans:

1. the data contains the project name and unique ID
2.The item name (mapped to the task in the project field)
3. cost (mapped to actuals)
4. date incurred (mapped to start)

Therefore, all projects on the project server (2003 btw) end up with
their own actuals.

I receive this spreadsheet each month from Finance, direct access to
the Oracle system is a no no, therefore, this spreadsheet is the only
way to import real financial data.

How can I go about automating this process so that in the future, all
it takes is the spreadsheet dumped into a repository and a
non-technical admin pressing a button to activate.
