Importing from a Newbie

I would like to import a project plan that a PM has created. I would like
to import it into a MS Project 2007 template.
I am attempting to standardize the project plans as much as
possible. Until I can get the PMs to start out their project plans using the
templates, I need to import their project plans into my template. Can anyone
help ?

Hi Lily,

Do you have administrator rights to Project Server? Is this template going
to be standard for your organisation or only for a section of the
organisation?
Clearly the easiest way if the template can be used across the organisation
is to have the file saved as a template in Project server. If it is only for
a select number of people, then have it saved as a specific template on the
server. The rest is then up to changing the attitude of the users or
changing their settings so that the new template is the default for any new
project.
