Importing from Access into Project

We have an Access database of all of our lab equipment: servers, storage, FC switches, etc. This equipment gets allocated to various short-term projects, typically 1 - 3 months (sometimes longer) in duration. Is there a way to import this equipment list from Access into the Resource list of Project so we can assign both equipment and people as resources to a specific project

Then, if this can be done and once the schedule is generated, is there also a way to export start/end dates and "owner" of the equipment from Project back into Access?
