Importing from Access

I am having trouble importing data to a new Project file
from an Access database. Everything in the help file works
up to the point of selecting which DB fields map to which
Project fields. The one Project field that doesn't seem to
be available for import is the Task Name (only the most
imprtant field!). Anyone have a clue for me?

Mike --

The real name of the Task Name field is Name. "Task Name" is actually the
label or "nickname" for the field. Hope this helps.

Thanks - that made a big diference! However, I immediately
ran into another 'show stopper'.

I had some initial problems with date fields that were
blank in the database but I fixed all of those - now the
import happens without any error messages.

However, although the dates in the first few rows of the
preview panel look fine, when I look at the imported data
all of the dates are set to today's date.
