Importing from Entourage X to Entourage 2008

Version: 2008
Operating System: Mac OS X 10.5 (Leopard)

I have just installed Office 2008. I previously had the X version. When I try to import from Entourage X I get two error messages.

Import from Entourage X could not be completed because an error (-40) occurred.
Import from Entourage X could not be completed because an error (2) occurred.

How can I fix this and import the data? Help! The new product is pretty much useless to me now.

Both of these errors indicate physical problems with your drive. Use Disk
Utility to verify the health of your drive. If your drive fails, you could
loose all your data.

How can I fix this and import the data? Help! The new product is pretty much
useless to me now.

If you still have Entourage X installed you need manually export your data
for import into Entourage 2008.

How to manually move your data. (when import fails and/or you need to move
to a new Identity same version or revert to an older version)
