Importing from Excel error message

I keep getting an error message: First row contains data
that can't be used for valid Access field names.

The first row in my Excel document is the exact same field
names at in the Access table I'm trying to import into.

Any helpful tips would be appreciated. Many thanks!

You probably have some extra columns in Excel that you don't even know of.
Solution: copy the rectangular data and paste to a new workbook.
Import the new workbook. It should be fine.
