Importing from Palm, need extra telephone number slot

M

Marygrace~

I am importing data from a Palm. I am going to use PocketMirror software to
do this. In the current Palm software, one feature my boss wants to keep is
the option for the 5th telephone number. He has home and business
information on most clients and fax numbers for both, sometimes pagers.

I would make a second entry for some to get through this if he didn't have
over 1,000 entries.

I used the Tools, Forms, Design a Form, Contact feature. I added a
telephone number with a name - pager. (I would prefer that it allow me to
choose which one I want.) But I couldn't figure out how to get it to save it
as the new way a contact comes up. And I wasn't able to get it to fit in
below the other telephone options.

Any easy fix for this out there?

Thanks for any help you can give me!

I am not finished with the articles yet, but they are VERY helpful!

Thank you so much! I am going to play with it this evening. I got so far,
but see that I missed one thing so far, having to hide the original document
before being able to save the new one. Kind of important!

Thanks again! You did a great job with these articles. They are easy to
read and follow! Awesome!

I didn't personally write the articles...I believe that honor goes to the
owner of that website, Outlook MVP Sue Mosher, and maybe some guest writers.
But I'm glad that you find them helpful! I hope Sue reads this :)
